For my dear friend Leah who is headed off to Thailand.  I'm praying for traveling mercies and quick and comfortable adjustment to her new home.  I'm praying that God uses her talents and passions to further His message.

Kayla Mueller

This week I've been praying for the family and friends of Kayla Mueller and those of the other hostages killed as well as the repercussions soon to follow. 

Humility

This week I'm praying for humility and a more other-focused mindset. 

Finish the Race

As my senior year is drawing to a close I am really struggling with senioritis.  I am praying for the ability to finish the race strong and not to give up on my schoolwork.  I want to be God's light in my school and show my classmates and teachers the work God can do in a sinner to use me for His glory.

Strength and Endurance

I'm praying for strength and endurance in my faith and spirit.

Focus

This week I will be praying for the ability to focus, especially in my spiritual life.

Typhoon Victims

I'm praying for the people affected by Typhoon Haiyan.  I'm praying that those who are hurt will be healed.  That those who are grieving will be comforted.  That those who are still unaware will have their anxiety eased.  That those who have nothing will be able to rebuild their lives again.  That all those affected in any way will find hope and peace.  That these people will not fade from memory sooner than they are able to recover.  And most of all that through all of this destruction the message of the gospel might be shared with the nations.
